The Acquisition Process
A Clear Path to Your Exit
We've designed our process to be transparent, low-pressure, and built entirely around what works for you. Here's exactly what to expect from first contact to final handover.
Submit Your Business
Fill in our short submission form with the basics — your industry, annual revenue, how long you've been operating, and why you're looking to exit. Everything you share is completely confidential. We don't share your information with anyone.
You don't need financials or a business plan at this stage. Just a brief overview is enough for us to determine if there's a potential fit. We review every submission personally.
We Assess & Value
Once we've reviewed your submission and confirmed interest, we'll request your financials and conduct a thorough assessment. We look at revenue, profitability, assets, customer base, and growth potential.
Our valuation is fair and transparent. We'll walk you through our methodology so you understand exactly how we arrived at our number. No smoke and mirrors.
We Make an Offer
If the business is a fit, we present a clear, written offer. We'll explain the terms in plain language — purchase price, payment structure, and any conditions. You're under no obligation to accept.
We're open to discussion. If there are terms that don't work for you, we'll talk through alternatives. Our goal is an agreement that feels right for both sides.
You Exit on Your Terms
Once terms are agreed, we handle the legal and administrative process with minimal disruption to you. We work with you on the handover — staff, customers, suppliers — so the transition is smooth for everyone.
We understand this is more than a transaction. We respect what you've built and we're committed to honouring that through the handover and beyond.
Common Questions
Is my information kept confidential?
Absolutely. We treat every submission with complete discretion. Your business details are never shared with third parties, competitors, or the public.
What types of businesses do you acquire?
We focus on profitable and semi-profitable South African SMEs across a range of industries. If your business has a track record and a customer base, we'd love to hear from you.
How long does the whole process take?
From submission to signed agreement typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the business and how quickly we can complete due diligence.
Do I need a broker or lawyer?
You're welcome to involve your own advisors at any stage. We recommend having a lawyer review the final agreement, but you don't need a broker — we work directly with you.
